My teaching style uses outside class material in our conversations so we can practice new speaking skills with current world topics, events, and student interests. I strive to help my students feel comfortable and confident in our classes, especially when practicing new speaking skills. I want my students to speak more than me in class, so I can help with correction and accuracy. I studied Spanish as a second language when I was a younger student and I understand how intimidating learning a second language can be. I believe having an understanding and patient teacher was critical to my success in my language classes. I hope to be that teacher for you!
