Hello!
I am an experienced English Teacher and Tutor with a strong commitment to ESL student success. I have an Associate's degree in Education, and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English. I'm well versed in working remotely. I've taught as an Online Essay Scorer and English Teacher, so I recognize that effective listening, oral and written communication skills are important, along with classroom management, positive reinforcements, implementing student learning strategies and maintaining a stimulating learning environment are imperative to a student's success. I have received the Outstanding Service by a Tutor Award, the Collaborative for Excellence in Teacher Preparation, and placed on the National Dean's List, so I am confident that I can assist students with learning a new language.
I am a native English speak, and an avid reader. I love reading fiction, non-fiction, memoirs and biographies. I also love writing short stories for fun. Additionally, I provide coaching services to authors and speakers, who are personal development and health professionals, with writing and editing their books. I enjoy doing physical exercise twice a week and listening to music. I have a pet cat, who I adore. She is my first pet cat. During my childhood, my family always had dogs. So, I am learning the difference in the needs to care for a cat as apposed to dogs.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is enthusiastic and fun. I enjoy watching students learn, and I find it very rewarding for the student to begin implementing the new language into their daily life. As, an experienced teacher of ESL students, I understand the importance of having patience in learning a new language. I have also witnessed with persistence and continued practice, a new language is easy to learn. I, too, have had experience with learning a new language, so I recognize why having patience during the learning process is of utmost importance.
