Hey there everyone! My name is Leslie. I was born in New York but live in Ecuador, South America. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and have a MS in Biology. My teaching experience started when I had to teach science to undergraduate students as part of my MS program. Teaching science was a bit challenging because I had to make the subjects very interesting. It made me very happy when I saw my students become excited about science. I enjoy being an English tutor on Cambly because I meet so many interesting and amazing people from all over the world. I also understand how important it is for many of them to learn English. Whether it is for professional or personal reasons, speaking English has become a valuable skill. Now I would love to help you achieve your goal of becoming a fluent English speaker. I currently live in Ecuador, South America, in a little town called Cotacachi. There are many foreigners here because it is a very beautiful and peaceful place, plus the weather is just perfect! I enjoy meeting people from other places and learning about their culture. My students have taught me so much about the world and I appreciate the time we spend in class very much. I consider myself to be friendly, patient and interested in what people have to say. I like to listen and I make sure people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas.
