Hello there. My name is Tommy and I'd like to start by thanking you for your time in reading my profile. I am Scottish by birth but currently live in the Caribbean. I have visited numerous countries and met many people from different cultures and love chatting about life experiences. I am a positive person and believe that smiles are infectious. Whilst I have been away from Scotland for many years I have retained a slight Scottish accent which you may detect when we are chatting. Throughout my life, good and bad experiences have created the person I am today. I used to be driven by work and kept a very high level of energy which led to elevated levels of stress. Now I am very relaxed and enjoying my semi retirement in the Caribbean. I love to walk in mountain areas surrounded by nature and also play a great deal of golf. I am an avid cook who loves to create Indian Curry dishes. Since i have been living in the Dominican Republic I have qualified as a Padi Dive Master and Rescue Diver. I also enjoy underwater photography.

Having great experience in teaching various topics to different groups of people throughout the world I truly believe that a solid student teacher relationship helps to achieve goals. Trusting that your tutor can help you and believing in them leads to confidence and enhanced ability. I also believe having fun and making classes more interactive by involving the student more gets best results. Correcting mistakes is a very important part of the learning process and I will correct you as and when necessary. I believe that my teaching style is best suited for adults, as my experience in teaching children is very limited.
