Hello!
Hi, I was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. I had the opportunity to travel all across Canada and in my late teens settled in Quebec Canada, Here I learned French and taught ESL for 20 years. In the last 10 years I have lived abroad in Central America learning Spanish and doing a volunteer work. I also taught English on line for several years with Boxfish. My hobbies are reading, cooking, walking in nature parks.
Also I can speak on many different subjects, whatever interests the students may have, maybe travel or animals etc.

My teaching style is first to make the students comfortable. I am especially good with beginners in building their confidence. I have learned great conversational skills working with so many different groups : business, tourism unemployment groups, also individuals on the telephone and in the classroom with larger groups. Once students are comfortable they are more willing to express themselves.
