Hello!
Hello! I am a TEFL/TESOL certified English as a foreign language teacher, and have been working with students from around the world for eight years. I received my Masters degree in Bilingualism in Multicultural Classrooms in 2024.. I have experience working with elementary through high school students,and have taught at schools in Spain and South Korea, as well as to business professionals in Chile. I am experienced working with all language levels, and am excited to help you reach your language learning goals! One important note: while I LOVE teaching children in a classroom, I work best with adults online, so please no one younger than 16 years old unless they are advanced English speakers and have an activity ready to work on.
I have lived in four countries, have been to over 25 countries, and all of the continents except Antarctica. I read a LOT, I love learning, and meeting new people, and especially learning about different cultures. Aside from travel as a main hobby, I am very into health fitness. In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked in fundraising in the not-for-profit sector, and have also taught here in the US, so I am knowledgeable about both of those sectors.

I believe in meeting my students where they are, helping to guide them further in their language skills. And I always stress to my students that mistakes are normal! Please never worry that you may say something wrong-- if you spoke perfectly every time, I wouldn't have a job! I like to build a rapport with my students so they feel comfortable in processing in English. I am also a language learner (Spanish, French), so I understand how challenging it is, but rewarding, the practice you put in!
