Hello, my name is Jerri Sydnor- Lee. I am a twenty-plus-year educator, but I currently teach English online. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with honors), a Master’s Degree in Education ( with a concentration in Leadership), and a degree in Graphic Arts and Web Design. I reside in the USA. It has been my passion to work in and out of the classroom helping students with reading, phonics, science, math, and life skills. I have also been an entrepreneur for the past thirty years. I look forward to talking with you while practicing speaking skills, pronunciation, comprehension, or just having fun while enhancing your life skills. Hello, I am a passionate, patient, creative, and experienced educator and entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience. I currently hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with honors)and a Master’s Degree in Education. I reside in the USA. It has been my passion to work in the classroom for the past twenty years, servicing students with various exceptionalities. From 1997 to 2018 I worked in the Atlanta Public School system. I developed and adapted individualized teaching methods that were suitable for each of the students to help them make effective progress in a public-school setting. With my encouragement, I have taught students in all core content areas to meet their academic goals. In ELA I have assisted children in reading, how to pronounce words by learning the phonetic value of letters, letter groups, and syllables, as well as to speak and write in complete sentences. I worked with ages 3 - 18 in the school system helping teach kids and adolescents how to identify emotions, manage emotions, and build social skills. I have been in the ceramic gift business since the late ’80s. In 2010 I launched an online ceramic gift business selling decorative items for the home. In my free time, I enjoy helping my elders. I read extensively, love cooking and baking, gardening, sewing, and painting. I also relish the company of my 2 little dogs Sammie and Sassie. I'm always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness.

I would describe my teaching style is highly adaptable. I do not really prefer one teaching method or one way of interacting with the students in the classroom environment. Instead, I enjoy coaching students. I develop and adapt individualized teaching methods that are suitable for each of the students to help them make effective progress in the classroom setting. Rather than offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, with the help of demonstration and fun activities, to aid in helping students find the answers. Using a kind and patient manner I place my efforts on helping students develop their abilities to achieve the goals of the lesson
