Hello!

I'm CELTA-certified, and previously worked as a teaching assistant in Budapest, Hungary and Warsaw, Poland.

I'm from the northeastern United States, and split my childhood between Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading novels, watching old movies, and playing computer games. Before teaching I worked a variety of different jobs. I’ve been a cashier, worked front desk and housekeeping at a hotel, and been a janitor at a university campus and a hospital. I’ve worked with people with all sorts of professional backgrounds, and with a lot of people who learned English as a second language.

Teaching Style

I like to start with a get-to-know-you conversation, so I have some information about your background and goals. Then, we can begin to work on your pronunciation, speaking, listening, or grammar. I'm also full of reading recommendations, but video tutoring isn't the best platform for that. I am best with B1-C2 learners.
