Mia
Hello!
Hello students, My name is Mia, I am an Australian, so English is my mother tongue. I have experience in teaching English language as I live in Europe, Croatia where my father is from( I also speak Croatian and can understand what it means being bilingual). I help students of all ages with their English in schools as well as translating texts of all kinds. I am an actress by profession, but sadly due to corona, theatre tours have not been as frequent as once, so I have decided to try Cambly in order to help people with learning English language. I have lots of experience teaching drama at schools, so I feel Cambly is a right place for me, as we can learn English in a fun way!
I am an actress by profession and quite open to invite spontaneity. This breaks any nerves and builts trust between mentor and a student. I hold drama classes as well as tour across the world. I am a proud mother of 2 wonderful kids which is by far the best role I have ever been given.

Teaching Style
I am a great believer that languages need to be spoken as much as possible, so wherever you are at when it comes to English, I invite us to talk. Once I hear where improvement is needed, I then introduce a lesson in a specific area and use examples in which to practice until it becomes natural in a spoken form.
