Hello!

Hello! My name is Tommy Post, but you may call me Sir Tommy or Sir Tom. I am originally from Texas in the United States, but now I reside in the Philippines. I am a retired teacher with 28 years of experience. I loved teaching my students. I mainly taught 4th-6th grades. For many years I was a self-contained 4th and 5th grade teacher. I was the only teacher they had. Our school decided to departmentalize and I taught math, reading, and English for 5th and 6th grade students. I enjoyed all of my classes. I was married almost 35 years before my wife died. I now live in the Philippines with my foster son. I would love to become your teacher if you decide to accept me. Have a great day!

I am a retired Texas teacher living in the Philippines. I have been here for eight and a half years. I was married for almost 35 years before my wife died in 2006. I loved teaching. I taught for 21 years in one school as an elementary teacher for 4th-6th grades. Part of the time I was the English, reading, and math teacher for those grades. After living in the Philippines for 3 years, I had a life threatening problem. I had a very bad situation with ulcerative colitis. I had to have emergency surgery which led to over 6 foot of my large colon to be removed. Because of this, I have a permanent colostomy. It has saved my life. I have learned to live with it and do not let it hold me back from doing the things I feel comfortable doing. I feel I have more to offer as a teacher and am willing to come out of retirement to help more students learn and improve their lives. I would love to share my joy of learning with you.
