Hi, I am a native English speaker from London in the United Kingdom. I currently live in the beautiful Canary Islands. My teaching experience includes teaching photography and darkroom skills to young students whilst working in the United States of America. In addition, I have mentored Japanese language students whilst living in Australia. My love of travelling has allowed me to live and work in Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Australia and the United States. For fun, I have traveled around Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, and Europe but my thirst for culture keeps thriving so I always look forward to visiting more countries and learning about new cultures. Growing up I wanted to be a choreographer, so I like many forms of dance, especially Latin American dance. I can offer a lot of transferable skills, more importantly I believe in developing my skills and continuously learning new things. Prior to the pandemic I worked in the tourism industry. Currently, I am studying the Spanish language. In addition I am also currently in the process of obtaining my TEFL (teaching english as a Foreign Language) teaching certificate. Whilst aspiring to making our world a sustainable future, being conscious in my decisions. Being mindful. Living intentionally, with less waste is also very important to me. I’m looking forward to connecting and sharing the English language with you, so don’t be shy, call me.

Teaching Style
My teaching style can best be described as ‘conversational strategies’. I help adults practice conversation. I work well with 'adult' intermediate learners and I'm comfortable teaching introverts. I teach adults on this platform. My style is adaptable and customised to each individual. I believe in being patient, highly flexible, and supportive, to help speakers with pronunciation whilst maintaining a conversation. In order to achieve their communicative goal, I simply try my best with each student because what works great with one student, may fail completely with another one. So I am here to encourage learners to be empowered and to actively participate regardless of their level of confidence. That is the definition of my teaching style.
