Hello!
Hello! I'm Cary Bass and I have been teaching online for the past 2 1/2 years with a company in China. I have taught students who didn't know a word of English and now they speak like a native! It amazes even me how quick kids learn! I have had many jobs in life, but teaching is one of my favorites!
I enjoy working with people. In all of my jobs there had been some element of instruction. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and watching movies.

I like to teach intuitively, meaning I am not a stickler for rules and procedures starting out ... those can come later once you have a grasp for the language. I am very positive and encouraging, probably because when I was kid the teachers were very hard and discouraging! Learning should be fun and something the students look forward to every week and not a chore. It should be a source of joy.
