Hello!

Hello from sunny Florida! My name is Teacher Mary, and I'm very happy to meet you! I have a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida and over 20 years of experience teaching writing in colleges and universities in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. I love to help my students learn and achieve their goals in life. Kindness and patience are among the most important tools a teacher can use in the classroom. I believe learning should be fun for both teacher and student! When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, knitting, sewing, and other crafts, and playing with my dogs and cat. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom soon!

I enjoy learning new skills and try to impart this love of learning to all of my students.
