Hello! My name is Alex! Currently living in Minas Gerais, Brazil. I am originally from New York City, USA. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish. I am TEFL, TESL and TESOL qualified. I enjoy teaching. I am patient and communicative. I will help you learn and feel confident.

I was born and raised in New York City. More specifically, I was born in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 14 my family moved to Queens, New York. I am a product of the NYC Public school system (from primary school to high school). I attended college at CUNY Bernard Baruch College, School of Finance. A school located in Manhattan, NY. All my life, I studied in NYC. I served in the US Army National Guard. Soon after I was present for the tragedy at the Twin Towers/ World Trade Center on September 11,2001. I grew up listening to many different accents and learned to help my students correctly pronounce words in English.
