Hello everyone! My name is Annabel, and I'm thrilled to meet you! Getting to know new people can be fun and interesting, and learning something new is always exciting. Come chat with me! I was born in the US, but when I was a child my family moved to Guatemala to do humanitarian work. Living in Guatemala I quickly acclimated to both the language, Spanish, and the culture. My family moved back to the US so I could finish high school and go to college. I moved back to Guatemala and have been living here ever since! This is home to me!

My teaching style is fun and upbeat. The idea is to keep the energy high while remaining centered on the goals set in place. It is important to remind the students that it is fun and interesting to learn something new. In my classes, everyone’s voice matters, no matter how much English you know. The goal is to achieve comfortable conversation and then move on to accuracy. Guidance, patience, and encouragement are key, and will not be lacking in my class.
