Hello! I am a Canadian, married to an Austrian, and we have 5 children. I have a degree in Nursing and a Level 5 TEFL Certificate. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your English-learning journey!
We lived in Austria for 15 years and now live in Canada. We homeschool our children in German. We raise animals for food, we have bees, we make maple syrup, and we have a large garden. We have a church in our home and every Sunday provide a meal for all that come. I like to read, to cook and bake, to spend time with my family, and to have people in for tea or meals! I also love to travel and to meet people from all over the world. Learning about culture and languages is very interesting and I hope to continue that as I help you learn English!

My teaching style is student-focused. I am encouraging and patient, knowing that making mistakes helps us to learn! I focus on the topics of interest to my student, taking care to teach and correct grammar and other aspects of language as we go.
