Hello!

Hi! My name is Beth, and it's lovely to meet you on Cambly!👋 I have been teaching on Cambly for nearly four years, meeting students from around the world. I have taught lessons to students in Brazil, Chile, Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Turkey, and many other countries!🌍Learning a new language can feel scary, but our lessons are a safe space where you can be yourself, and we can tackle the mountain of learning English together! 🌄 Creating a fun, dynamic, energetic environment is important for remaining engaged with language learning. This is why our lessons will be upbeat and diverse, so we can cover new topics and vocabulary to help expand your English skills📝. I am TEFL certified and very patient with all proficiency levels. So, even if you’re a beginner, please don’t be shy! Let’s conquer English as a team!🤝

I currently live full-time in an off-grid campervan and travel around the world. So far, I have explored France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, and most recently, North Africa!🏜️ My love for teaching began when I spent a year volunteering at an Indigenous boarding school in Queensland, Australia. I taught English, Maths, and PE (physical education), and fell in love with communication and the endless doors it can open 💬. I hope to one day travel further afield and visit many other countries, connecting with new people, and experiencing unfamiliar things each day🌟. Some of my hobbies include: Hiking Running🏃‍♀️ Gardening🌻 Cooking Reading 📚 Listening to music (I love anything from the 1980s!)
