Emily
Hello!
Hello! My name is Emily and I live in Virginia with my husband and my dog, Bailey. I have a bachelor's degree in history and education from the University of Richmond where I was a Division I field hockey player. I have been an ESL teacher for 8 years. Before I taught with Cambly, I taught with another online company. I have a TESOL certification from the International Open Academy.
I love to read and travel. I have been to many countries in Europe and the Caribbean as well as Australia and New Zealand. I am looking forward to my next worldly adventure.

Teaching Style
I am an upbeat teacher who uses a lot of TPR to help with connecting words to meaning. I work with the student's pace based on their past experience and their goals. I’m happy to follow a lesson plan or free talk.
