Hello!
Hello, my name is Delia. I live in the United States in the State of Ohio. For the past 15 plus years I have worked with students ages 5-10 years old. Most recently, I have worked with English language learners on a one-on-one platform. It was during this time that I created materials that enhanced the lesson as well as using fun and creative computer techniques to supplement the lesson. On most beautiful days you can find me taking hikes in the woods, biking on our beautiful trails, and boating/fishing on Lake Erie. My husband and I are the proud parents of three amazing children. I find it fasinating learning about other people, their country, and cultures.

I believe that it is important to be patient with students learning a new language. It is also important to give the student time to process before speaking too soon. I like my students to leave my classroom feeling they were given an opportunity to learn English in an environment where the teacher was patient, kind, and supportive of theirs skills with the challenge of learning proper English.
