Hi, My name is Teacher Barb. I live in the United States. I teach creative writing, elementary education and English as a Second Language (ESL). As an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, I teach basic, everyday, practical, spoken English. I use my teaching skills sharpened by years of teaching experience to help you go from knowing basic words and sentence patterns to speaking your thoughts and opinions. Speaking our own thoughts gives us incredible power. Language is our gateway to the world; English has become one of the major languages on our planet. I live in the United States. I am a teacher who loves gardening, rescuing cats, illustrating, acrylic painting, and meeting people around the world. I use my creative writing and illustrating skills to make coloring and activity books that tell stories and teach lessons. At the moment, I am experimenting with growing food in-the-house, not a greenhouse or hoop house. I am doing this because many people have space in their home that is suitable for food growing; they just need food growing indoors know how. I have a long list of countries and people I want to learn more about. I can't wait to learn more about you and your country.

I am a kind and patient teacher. I teach in a relaxed, encouraging, supportive manner. My teaching helps improve writing, speaking and listening skills. I work well with intermediate and advanced levels. I have taught pre-k, elementary grades and college classes but I no longer work with or teach those who are 18 or younger.
