Hello! I'm Amanda. I've been teaching English to non-native speakers since 2014. I have a TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy. Teaching English is a fun and fulfilling experience for me because I get to help you learn English and learn about another culture. From 2014 to 2017, I taught English in Daegu, South Korea. I look forward to meeting you and to help you with your English learning goals!
I grew up near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA. I love to travel, run, and hike. So far, I have completed 7 marathons! I've lived and worked overseas in Australia and South Korea. One of my favorite ways to relax is to watch movies while cuddling with my cat, Jangmi.

When I teach, I create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students. Making mistakes is okay, because making mistakes is how we learn, and my goal is for you to speak as much as possible during our time together. In my classroom, I make learning fun with conversation practice. I also enjoy teaching students idioms, talking about culture, and helping you improve your vocabulary.
