Hello! My name is Monica! I have been teaching English for over 25 years, and I have been teaching online English for 5 of those years. I earned a BA in English Education from Brigham Young University, and have a TESOL certification. Also, hold a professional substitute teaching certificate in the state of Arizona. I am experienced in teaching both children and adults. Quality conversation is key in my classroom. Also, I believe that if a student is having fun while learning, they will advance much faster. Students will notice a lot of progress in my classroom while enjoying their learning time along the way. I love to take about travel, literature, exercise, gardening, cooking, sports, movies, and pets. I am very easy to talk to. Let's learn together. I cannot wait to meet you!
Hello! I live in the western United States of America with my husband, four boys, and two dogs. I love to garden, read, exercise, cook, be outdoors, and travel. My family has learned many things by traveling to different places around the world. We love to spend time together not matter what we are doing. Also, we greatly value education in our home. I am a very outgoing, friendly person, and I love to get to know new students. I cannot wait to meet you!

I am a student-centered teacher. Students should always be speaking more than the teacher. I cater to the student's educational needs, and how they want their class to go. I am known as friendly, easy-going, and fun. Also, I am technology-based and have spent the last several years teaching students online. Kindness is always the center of my classroom. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each of my students. On other platforms, I am known for my active approach and have the ability to scaffold and adjust conversation as each student needs.
