Hello! My name is Colin and I have been teaching English on-line for four and a half years, I homeschool my son, and I was involved with a homeschool Co-Op in England for 6 years. I only accept bookings on the hour or the half hour, as bookings at the quarter hour prevent another student from booking full half hour classes in that hour.
I was born in Canada, but I have travelled all over the world with my family! I love music, I adore travelling and meeting new people, reading and spending time with the people I love. I became a journeyman (master) electrician, then moved to England where my son was born, and became a homeschool teacher to my son and others in a homeschool co-op. I love being an ESL teacher because I can meet and teach people all over the world, especially kids. Being an ESL teacher allows me the freedom to teach from anywhere. We moved to Bulgaria 3 years ago, and now we live in a very small village.

I am very animated and I use a lot of props, toys, songs, pictures, signs, just about anything to help make teaching English easier for everyone! I also try to understand what each student needs and how they learn (are they shy and quiet, or loud and need steering). I try to talk slowly, so I am understood easily, and my accent is neutral with very little regional differences, so the students can learn to pronounce the words in a way that is understood by everyone. I want to have fun, and I want my students to have fun too.
