Nic
Hello!
Hi! My name is Nic, I'm from Manchester in the U.K. Apart from my family I have two passions in life, one is teaching English and the other is music. After I graduated from university in 2006 studying experimental electronic music I went onto study to be a teacher. I've always wanted to teach but I soon found out that I enjoyed teaching English more than teaching music. So as well as being an English teacher I am a composer, producer and live performer of electronic music which over the past ten years has taken me to China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Germany to perform for audiences in art galleries and live music venues.
For the last 4 years I have been working for the largest and best ESL school in Vietnam - (V.U.S) teaching all levels and all ages but mainly focused on children age 5 to 12. This has given me invaluable experience of how to make learning English as a fun as possible for the students with the use of many different games that allow the students to practice speaking and using vocabulary in a fun way. I live in a house in the country with my wife and daughter aged 5 surrounded by nature in the highlands of Vietnam where we enjoy hiking and outdoor activities together.

Teaching Style
As a teacher I thrive off the challenge of finding the best teaching methods to suit the individual or particular class. Good pronunciation becomes almost like music in the sense of the learner being able to hit the right notes. I am extremely patient, I love the English language and I love to help people. I’m a highly creative individual, and an entertainer and I work hard to keep my audience engaged and having fun!
