Hello! I love people and really like to get to know them. You matter to me! I have a background in social work, and that compassion comes through in my teaching...I am very patient and encouraging. My students need not worry that I will make them feel rushed or inadequate. I know that learning takes time!...I am upbeat, enthusiastic, innovative, and professional, but I also want lessons and conversation to be interesting and relevant for my students, so I work to tailor the classes to your individual needs as much as possible, whether that's improving your formal communication for business or learning the alphabet and some basic vocabulary words for the first time...I am curious and continually traveling and learning. Just this year, I have camped on my own in the desert and studied Spanish for three months in another country. I understand what it's like to try things for the first time, and I know what it feels like to learn and struggle to understand and express yourself in a new language...I went to college at an older age, so I am familiar with what it's like to be an adult learner, and I am also a high school teacher and a mother, so I know how to relate well to teens and children...I look forward to meeting new students and working with you to help you enjoy your lessons while you become more confident in your English language skills...................... He estudiado mucho para aprender espanol entonces yo se como es trabajar ganar mas fluidez y mejorar un idioma extranjero. Aunque vamos a hablar en ingles, a veces es muy bueno explicar un concepto o una palabra nueva en espanol, y puedo hacerlo la mayoria del tiempo. Le invito a mis clases y es un gusto servirle.

I have taught college students, high school students, and children. I have traveled a lot and enjoy learning languages. I love history and exploring new cultures. I enjoy helping people and listening to them.
