Hello, my name is Gary. I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan in the United States, but I have lived and taught English in various parts of the world including Guatemala, Ecuador, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Cuenca, Ecuador. I currently live and teach English in New York City in the U.S.
I currently live in New York, and I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have lived and taught in various parts of the world. I love teaching English because I am able to meet people from all over the world, and teaching is very enjoyable for me, so I take my profession seriously.

Teaching Style
I am very flexible with my teaching style. I try to teach the style that best fits you the student. Most of my experience has been teaching academic English, but I also adjust to teaching to the style that you prefer. I also teach all skills of English including, speaking, pronunciation, listening, grammar, writing, and reading. If you would like to focus on speaking and pronunciation, I will adapt my courses to fit your needs. Likewise, if you'd like to focus on writing and grammar for perhaps a university course or business, I will develop my lessons to fit your needs.
