I am born and raised in Canada. I have lived and taught abroad for 12 years and since my return to Canada I have been teaching ESL. I have worked for IELTS for about 6 years. I am also a member of TESL Ontario and constantly attend webinars to upgrade my skills

Teaching Style
I teach mostly through conversation. A lot of my students studied English the old fashioned way which was a lot of grammar. The way we teach today is through the four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. I focus more on the Speaking, Reading and Writing skills. During class time, I focus mostly on speaking however I will also ask you to read. As for the written part, I give that for homework and then, we review in class. I don't set my teaching style in stone since all my students are different and I cater my classes to suit your individual needs
