My name's Anthony, but call me Tony! === I was born and raised in Surrey, England - just outside London. I now live in Rome, Italy. === I love travelling to new places and meeting new people. I also love discovering dishes and cuisines from all around the world and trying to cook them for myself at home. I'm really into movies (especially horror films) and football. My biggest hobby, other than cooking, is repairing broken electronics - mostly game consoles, but also phones, laptops and other devices from time to time. === Some of my other hobbies include: reading, writing, cinema, animation, football (my teams: Sheffield Wednesday, Inter Milan and Palermo), language learning, Tintin, dogs, video games, electronics, urban exploration - and many more. === If there's something else about me that you would like to know, just ask me!

My recommendation to absolute beginners is that they start with a teacher who speaks their native language too. ---===--- For everyone else, here are some of the things that I am happy to do with you during our lesson time: == FREE TALK. I'm always happy to do 'free conversation' lessons where we talk about anything we feel like, and I help you with some corrections, new vocabulary and advice on the way. -=- READ INTERESTING ARTICLES together on various topics, learn new words and phrases and discuss the topic. -=- GRAMMAR POINTS. Teach you about specific grammar points - verb tenses, conditional sentences, forming questions, comparative adjectives etc. Just ask if there is something specific that you require / want to improve! -=- Let you practice your SPEAKING SKILLS with speaking-based activities like describing pictures and fun role plays. -=- Learn new PHRASES, IDIOMS and SLANG words in a fun and interactive way. === Obviously, every lesson is different and every student is different. If you have any specific requests or goals, please message me about them, and we can discuss them together. -- I am a very friendly and easygoing tutor who can talk about a wide range of topics. I love learning about other countries and other cultures, and I am also more than happy to teach about mine (UK/Italy). Many of my regular students have been taking lessons with me for years now, and they continue to book lessons with me because we have built up a good relationship and rapport.
