Derek
Hello!
Hello, and thank you for your interest in the English language! Let me help polish your current language skill in English, no matter what level you are. My background goes back to teaching and tutoring mathematics in the USA college system for 15 years, with English teaching and tutoring in the past 14 years. As a teacher/tutor, I learn from students, just as much as they learn from me, so it is a win-win! If you as a student can bring an open mind, ready to learn even just one thing each session, then you have already succeeded among your peers who do not want to learn more. Thanks and I look forward to talking with you soon.
I am 53 years old, originally from California. Teaching is very rewarding when a connection is made, so that is what I strive for each session with you. Send me a message so we can find a time that fits our schedule, I will make an appointment for us. This guarantees you have the time you want with me.

Teaching Style
My teaching style for online is easy going, with my goal to open you up in conversation, correcting as we talk. As a teacher, I must be flexible, since many of us learn in different ways. Let's work on pronunciation, which tense to use and when to use it, and giving you as the student honest feedback and corrections. I want to connect with you so there is no fear of making mistakes, as they are the building blocks. Have a topic in mind that you would like to chat about, then let's sharpen how you present your English.
