Hello!
Hello! My name is Ivanka, and I am excited to work with you. I am a speech-language pathologist, which has provided an excellent foundation for my approach to teaching English. In my earlier education, I studied French for several years, so I can understand the effort that goes into learning a foreign language. I am looking forward to helping you reach your English language goals!
I am a speech-language pathologist with a Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning. This means I have a specialized understanding of how we speak and learn language. I will use what I know about language, multilingualism, and speech to help you succeed. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, exercising, and spending time outside. I also love animals and have three dogs.

I would describe my teaching style as patient, compassionate, and calm. I am sensitive to the idea that every learner is different. We all have different experiences that affect who we are and how we learn. I want to recognize those differences and the strengths each student brings. I am also aware that not every student learns in the same way or within the same amount of time. I am dedicated to meeting your individual needs.
