Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm a calm and patient teacher with a friendly nature. As I have lived in Japan and Spain, I'm obviously curious about other cultures and able to empathise with language learners. Important to note, I only teach adult students on Cambly and direct young learners to Cambly Kids. For adult learners, I prefer students who have their cameras on and bookings that are 30 minutes or longer. Fifteen-minute classes are only available through on-demand calls. I also appreciate it if students schedule classes to start on the hour or half hour, whenever possible. This helps avoid gaps in my schedule without work. In the case of cancellations, if you are unable to attend a class for some reason, always try to cancel it prior to the booking time. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My interests are varied and include music, photography, cinema, art museums, live performances, travel, cultures, languages, ethnic and real food, wine, nature, walking, bike rides, yoga and of course people!

I enjoy creating a comfortable atmosphere for conversation where students can relax, feel at ease making mistakes, learn at their own pace and gain confidence little by little. My main goals are to provide conversational support, broaden your vocabulary, reinforce your grammar, improve your pronunciation and enhance your language accuracy. Importantly, I like to correct in a way that doesn't impede the rhythm and flow of a natural conversation too much.
