Hello!

Hi. My name is Liz. I am a primary school teacher in the midlands, UK where I am part of the School English team. I love animals and have a small dog called Gizmo. I have 3 teenage children. My son is football mad, hence I know a lot on this subject. I have a degree in teaching and also a TEFL certificate. Learning a new language should be fun I think. I also know how having 2 languages makes life so much easier as my husband is Spanish and my children are bilingual. I enjoy meeting new people and having a conversation with them.

As I said earlier, I have 3 teenage children and a full time primary teaching job. I live in the West Midlands, UK with my family. In my spare time, I walk, swim and read. I read books for pleasure rather than because they should be read.

Teaching Style

First and foremost, I think encouragement and patience are part of my skills set. I would congratulate anyone who is taking the initiative to learn a second language, giving them praise along the way. I try to incorporate humour into my lessons and where I can, use picture prompts or props to help explain a concept. Learning should be fun and progress should be made.
