Hello!
My name is Tim and I've been teaching English as a second language for over 8 years. I've taught adults, kids and teenagers in a variety of contexts including schools, online and social centres. I believe everyone learns in a different way, with different goals and I always try to understand this first so that we can work together to achieve the needs and wants of the student. I want my classes to be fun, flexible and creative whether we are learning grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation. Unfortunately I have an 8 year old age limit for my class. I look forward to meeting you!!!
I have worked in education for over 15 years from schools, to sports clubs, to social centres. After graduating from university with a degree in Fine Art I have used this as a basis to approach all kinds of learning whether it is English, art or football! I have worked in different countries in the world including France, Brazil, Greece and the UK always doing something related to education and learning.

My teaching style is focused around the interest and needs of the student, whether it is beginners steps or specific language and terminology. I like to include all the skills of language learning: writing, reading, listening and speaking in a dynamic way based on the interests of the student. I believe in order to learn we have to be comfortable enough to make mistakes, to learn from them and build confidence to use the language. I love to know what inspires the student to learn so that we can take this spark to explore personal interests and therefore motivate ourselves to learn.
