Laurence

Hello!

Hello. My name is Laurence, and I am really looking forward to meeting and talking with students of English from around the world. I don't have a formal teaching background, but I believe through my past experiences as a police officer in London, and as a seasoned traveller, I will be able to add real value and guidance throughout our friendly conversations

I performed many duties, and had numerous good, and occasionally bad experiences during my 27 years as a police officer. As a sergeant I had to brief and supervise teams of officers as they performed their duties, along with completing reports and staff appraisals. I am now retired, and live in Thailand with my Thai wife and son. Throughout each day I find myself helping and encouraging them to improve their vocabulary and spoken English. In my spare time I have a passion for playing tennis as often as possible, and I also enjoy the occasional game of golf. When I return to the UK in the Summer months, I also like to take my campervan away for holidays in the countryside.
