Gary

Hello!

Hi! My name is Gary, and I’m originally from Brisbane, Australia. After spending the past eight years living and teaching English in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I’ve recently moved back to Brisbane, where I’ll be living for the next year before returning back to Chiang Mai Thailand. During my eight years in Thailand, I taught English as a second language in a variety of settings, including one-on-one lessons, group classes, online classes, and full-time positions in schools. These experiences have allowed me to work with students of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds, and have helped me develop a flexible and engaging teaching style. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a 120-hour TEFL certificate. Teaching English has become a real passion of mine, and I genuinely enjoy helping students build their confidence and develop their English language skills. Living abroad for six years greatly enriched my life. It gave me the opportunity to experience a different culture, meet wonderful people from around the world, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and rewards of learning another language. Now that I’m back in Brisbane, I’m excited to continue doing what I love — helping students improve their English, gain confidence, and achieve their goals. Seeing my students make progress and knowing that I’ve played a part in their journey is incredibly rewarding. I love teaching, and I look forward to helping you on your English-learning journey!

I am still currently working for a Chiang Mai ESL Learning Centre, Which is a language school teaching my students online until my return to Chiang Mai. I work there as an English teacher. Teaching children from four years old to adults. I teach one on one, group classes, and online classes.
