Hello everyone! It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Tony and I'm an English teacher in Japan. I come from the United States, so I would be good to practice American English with, but I also have some knowledge of British English as well. I've been a teacher now for about 3 years, and it's something I enjoy very much. Learning can be difficult, but with consistency and hard work, you'll be speaking English in no time! I look forward to hopefully speaking with you soon. *Please Note: I ONLY teach adult students. I do NOT conduct kids lessons. If I receive a call from a child, I will be forced to hang up and cancel the lesson. Unfortunately this has happened on numerous occasions so I have to make a note of it here*
I'm from New York State. I really enjoy sports, in particular basketball and soccer. In addition to that I also like history and culture, which is a big reason why I study other languages. I see language as a way to connect deeply with other people and cultures.

I can be very loose and relaxing but also I try to bring a lot of energy to my lessons. I think that language learning should be fun. I especially get excited when I see a student really trying their best and progressing each time we speak.
