I was born and raised in Canada, but for the last few years, I traded snow for sand and taught English on a small Caribbean island. Now I'm in Brazil learning Portuguese! I live in a multilingual household — so I know firsthand how messy, rewarding, and sometimes hilarious language learning can be. A little about me: I love food from everywhere, learning about customs different from my own, and cheering on soccer (football) and rugby. You’ll also find me doing Pilates, hiking, or geeking out over nutrition. Here’s something students usually don’t expect: I’m actually shy. But one-on-one? That’s my comfort zone. Learning to speak English well creates many opportunities for you, so I take teaching very seriously. But I know from experience that we learn best when relaxed.
