NOW TAKING ON NEW STUDENTS WEF SEPTEMBER 2026 :) I am a BA (Hons) PGCE/QTS qualified teacher and have taught in the UK for over 20 years. I also have a Cert.TESOL which enables me to specialise in teaching English as a 2nd Language and have taught online for several years. I am happy to work with 13+ and adults through Cambly Classic and younger students through Cambly Kids.
Hi,I am from Kent in the South East of England but also have a home in the countryside in France so travel between the two countries to visit family and friends. I have lots of interests, like reading, renovating houses and playing the trumpet. I wasn't always a teacher. I started my career in finance where my interest in leading training courses was developed. I have also managed housing projects and supported homes for young adults with learning needs. I have a passion for learning and I am still learning now. I have lots of interests and life experiences so I am able to relate to learners from all backgrounds. I like teaching both adults and children and hope I can help you to be confident learners of English.

I like to make language learning fun and interesting and relevant to you. For young children this can be through story telling or puppets. For older students and adults it's great to teach based on your interests and needs. Sometimes just immersing yourself in everyday conversation is the best way to develop vocabulary and confidence.
