Hello, I am Margaret - I enjoy teaching beginners and intermediate students. I can help you reach your English goals. I have a friendly and relaxed teaching style and look forward to working with you. I have supported many adults in reviewing their vocabulary and correcting their pronunciation so they can communicate more effectively in conversations with friends or in professional settings, such as meetings. I have supported children who have passed their Cambridge exams (Movers - FCE level). They have all gained a pass or distinction. I look forward to teaching your child, too. We have fun in class. I am looking forward to helping both children and adults around the world speak the English language so that they can communicate freely and confidently. I love to read and conquer all sorts of puzzles. I have 3 children of my own who are very interested in anime and Minecraft. After raising children of my own, I became more passionate about teaching English to children. I thrive on seeing children (and adults) progress in their learning. I have a very keen interest in this. My hobbies include listening to music and singing at City Hall, where many famous singers have performed. I have also played in a drum corps at a famous festival and gained World Champion status.

I look at the lesson I am about to teach and prepare any other visual aids (videos/pictures/games) that could offer extra support to the children or adults I am teaching. I am friendly and love to play games (or sing songs for the younger ones) during our learning sessions and at the end of the lesson. I enjoy finding out about my students, intrigued about their cultures and how they like to learn and adapt the lessons around this information. I have experience in supporting students preparing for their Cambridge exams with a 100% pass rate - Movers, Flyers, KET, and PET. I have experience in supporting students in preparing for their EIKEN tests. I use the reading material, listening tests, and speaking questions. If you are preparing for an IELTS test, I can prepare all sections so you can work on all aspects, whether this be reading, writing, or speaking. I use Google Drive to send writing tasks if this is one of the things you need help with. I am happy to go with what you need.
