Hello, It is wonderful to meet you. My name is Shelley and I am from Alberta, Canada. I have a love for sharing knowledge and am excited to learn with you. I have a Bachelor, Education (Early Childhood) certificate from the University of Alberta and my TEFL certificate. I spend my free time reading, hiking, and am an avid traveler. My husband and I have 2 dogs and are currently on an adventure in southern Mexico with them!
I grew up on an acerage outside of the city where we had horses, cats, dogs and my sister even had a pet iguana and a pet ferret. I love to travel and my favorite travel experience so far is from a trip my husband and I went to Costa Rica. While we were in Costa Rica, we took a day trip to Nicaragua. It was such a learning experience for me and something I will never forget. I love animals and have two dogs. One is named Clapton after Eric Clapton and the other is named BB after the King of Blues. If we ever get the chance to talk, remind me to tell you about Santana! I cant wait to meet you and learn more about you!

I believe that each person learns in their own way. I like to have fun while learning and incorporate games and activities into lessons. I also I also believe that languages are easier to retain when connected to real life through objects, stories, and conversation. The more you utilize the language, the more of that language you will retain. Lets have some fun!
