Hello!
Hi, I'm a mum of two, very patient and love having friendly conversations and getting to know my students. I will always encourage you to gain more confidence during the lessons. I will guide and correct you, as necessary, as well as provide a few notes during the lesson, as will to help you remember too!! I have been teaching English both on-line, and in the classroom for many years now. I also have a real passion for teaching. I love my job here on Cambly. I have been working on Cambly for over 5 years now. I have also taught both my own husband and my two adult children, the best English, and they have never lived in the UK. I have a Degree in Travel, Tourism and Event Management, and worked in this industry for 28 years. During this time, I had the opportunity to both live and work in various destinations across the world. I worked as a Quality and Health and Safety Manager for a large travel company and previous to that I was a Wedding Co-Ordinator in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. I have travelled to many countries over the years, such as Canada, America, Turkiye, Croatia, Switzerland, France, mainland Spain, as well as the Balearic Islands of Majorca, Menorca, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Mexico, Jamaica and Cuba. I have lived and worked in the following destinations; Tenerife, Ibiza, Cyprus, Dominican Republic (for 12 years) and I have been living in Lanzarote, which is located in the Canary Islands (Spanish Island) for the last 14 years. I love to meet people from multicultural backgrounds,and finding out about other peoples culture, is both fascinating and amazing, so why not share your life experiences and culture with me too!! I really look forward to meeting you soon.
I love travelling, meeting new people, cooking, baking, reading, gardening and I also enjoy taking my two dogs for long walks every day. I love to find out more about your culture and general life experiences too. I have lived and worked in various destinations and countries for over 30 years now, so I personally understand the challenges of learning a second language, especially within the working environment. I am also trying to fully master the Spanish language too! If you need help with travel phrases and vocabulary for taking trips abroad, business trips, conferences abroad, or even travel advice in English, then I'm definitely your lady!!

I am friendly and have a calm and patient approach to teaching. I am a native speaker with a neutral British accent. My first aim is to make my students feel as comfortable as possible during our lessons. I will encourage you to gain the confidence to speak well. If at first you are nervous, please don't worry, as making mistakes are all part of the learning process. What are your language learning goals? Please share your goals with me me, so that we can work as a team to achieve them. I will work to create lessons that are based on your personal needs. I will ask you lots of open-ended questions and help you to learn how to answer them well. I´m an open book and a very open-minded person, so we can discuss any topic that suits you. I would love to meet you soon, during either a one-to-one lesson, or alternatively in one of my group lessons. We will become a great team and have lots of fun along the way too!!
