Hello!
To all the students. Bell's palsy has finally gotten better after many sessions of acupuncture. My face is still a bit uneven and one of my eyes still doesn't close completely. My speech has improved and I hope it will get better. I was raised in a bilingual home speaking Spanish and English. Translating the languages I speak, is second nature to me. I love to teach what I know, I would love to learn about you and your culture. To all of my new, and old students. I'd like to give you some personal information. I suffer from IBS. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome ) I could go for weeks without any symptoms and then suddenly my stomach could be in complete pain along with other symptoms. I apologize beforehand because sometimes I've had to cancel with a few hours or minutes before hand. I apologize for this inconvenience.
I've always liked languages. I'm interested in learning about different places and the many customs that each country has. I enjoy talking and helping people whether it be regarding languages, cooking or life in general. In my life I've had the privilege of traveling to various countries when I was younger. I truly believe that was a pivotal point in my life when I decided to try learning new languages. Although I never quite learned them fluently I was able to create lasting friendships with people from many different countries.

Teaching Style
I like to help through associating words. I emphasize the pronunciation of words by mimicking a sound in the students native language. I thoroughly enjoy explaining Phrasal Verbs how to use them and the different meanings one phrasal verb could have. I also enjoy idioms. I like to help each student achieve fluidity by practicing simple phrases faster and faster until the are no longer experiencing difficulty in saying the phrase or the words within the phrase.
