(Adult learners only 18+ please, thank you). Hello, my name is Joan. I am from Ireland. I am living in Spain. I love to meet new people, especially from other countries. I look forward to meeting you and talking to you soon!
I was born in the South West of Ireland. Ireland is a beautiful country in Europe and where I grew up is a wonderful place. I come from a happy family. I attended school and college in Ireland and I have worked in preschools in Ireland, as well as the hospitality sector. I love to travel and since I was little it has been my dream to see as much of the world as possible. I have been an au pair in Italy, America and the UK. I have worked in Irish bars in Europe, and at the moment I work and live in Spain with my husband. I love seeing new places and I love meeting new people from around the world. I would like to teach English as a way to give back. I understand what it is like to be in a foreign country with a foreign language and I would like to help others in this way by teaching English.

(Only adults please, thank you!) I think that the best way to learn a language is through speaking the language. It can be a fun and relaxed conversation. That is even better! I am a good listener. I am interested in what you say. I will gently guide my students where needed. I will help you with English grammar, pronunciation, interview preparation, business vocabulary, English slang, etc. but I will wait until the appropriate moment to correct mistakes or clarify etc. I will always listen. I will encourage more conversation. I will answer questions.
