I love to meet people from all over the world. I admit I am a geography geek, and I love to learn more about their home countries. I am married and have three adult children. I worked as a Church Pastor for 23 years, working with people from newborn to 103 years old. I have a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, with a specialization in coaching. I also have a Master of Divinity degree. I have coached badminton, basketball, T-ball (like baseball), and soccer (association football). I like to play guitar as well.
I am married to a wonderfully patient woman, and we have three adult children. I have a dog that I go for walks with on a farm.

I see value in each person as someone that God loves. Developing as a whole person is a priority for me, even more than school success. I use humor as a tool to teach with, but only if it fits a person's own style of humor. I also like to keep a class lively. I pay attention to the fundamentals of English, as I have been a communicator in speaking and in writing for the last 25 years. I am also very patient. I want to give everyone a fair chance to learn at their own speed.
