Hello!
Hi! My name is Deborah, and I'm a lot of things; an ESL teacher, a librarian, a wife, a cat-lover, and... a Canadian, as well as US citizen. I've lived in Montreal, Toronto, and now upstate New York, and enjoy travel, especially to France.
I'm a native Montrealer (so very familiar with learning a second language), with a background in ESL, publishing, public relations, and now director in a library in upstate New York. I'm married and mum to three cats. My happy place? France.

Teaching Style
I like to teach based on how a student likes to learn, and that is different for everyone. Some students prefer being corrected as soon as they make an error; other prefer referencing "groups" of errors at the end of a session and working to correct them through targeted exercises and conversations. I recognize it's hard to learn a second language! My goal is to make this as easy and enjoyable as possible.
