I will improve your English language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. I'm highly educated and possess diverse interdisciplinary business experience across countries and cultures. My spoken English language "accent" is "North American neutral" and crystal clear. I'm comfortable speaking prevailing contemporary English, but equally conversant with "slang" and regional dialectic variants. I'm very knowledgeable, competent, and patient -- and with a sense of humor! I speak slowly and pronounce clearly in keeping with the student's English language proficiency and goals.

My professional experience stretches beyond education and academia, embracing a variety of political, economic, and business environments over decades and in 5 continents. Given a range of teaching styles and techniques geared to well-educated, highly functioning students operating at or above an approximate Intermediate English language proficiency, I kindly request Beginners and all those younger than 16 years to select other tutors better suited to their needs. I repeat, I do not want to tutor children or beginners! I try to target my teaching style and methods to the specific profile of each individual student, including such factors as English level proficiency, age, educational level, academic disciplines, career history / path, hobbies, and personal interests, etc. I use Cambly's prepared materials extensively where appropriate (which have improved significantly in recent years). I also draw from challenging articles available from Engoo, Deep English, and other sources that can drive a student's curiosity and imagination. Many students thrive on the vast array of idioms, phrasal verbs, and other grammatical treasures available to high-achieving English language perfectionists. Perhaps most popular of all is so-called "free talking,"easy conversation, or whatever: current events, politics, religion, fitness, relationships, daily life, etc. It's always available and always up to you! 😊
