Hello!

Hi, My name is Ashley (call me Ash). I have worked with Cambly since December 2020. London "born and raised". I have lived in Tokyo "on and off" since December 2016, returning to London for 2.5 years in 2018, and spending 2.5 years in Kuala Lumpur from April 2023. I have just returned to Tokyo (Nihonbashi) in Sept 2025. I have experience with Japanese students at Eikaiwas (language schools) and have lots of materials, focusing on phrasal verbs and natural expression. These phrases are popular as they assist both in speaking and understanding natural English (UK and US). They also assist with IELTS. My background is in sales, travel and real estate. So I can assist with business English, both phrases and culture. My hobbies include travel and I have been to 58 Countries, living in UK,Australia (4.5 years), China (2 Years), Thailand (1 year), with an extended 7 month tour of South America. I spend my free time in the gym, running, tennis, ski and watching the EPL I worked Chelsea Football Club, for 15 years, Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions. Hobbies include fitness (gym), swimming, cycling, running and football. Love to travel and have been to over 50 countries, living in London, Thailand, China, Australia and Japan, with extensive tours of South and Central America. So I‘m good for travel tips! Have been teaching English for 8 years.
