Hello, I am Maame, a tutor from London, UK. I am a qualified Physiologist, and I am currently studying Medicine as a 2nd degree. I want to assist you in achieving your English language goals, whilst improving your skills and increasing your confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. I have several interests including reading (poetry, novels and non-fiction), watching films, science and history and I am an avid traveler. I love learning about and experiencing other cultures and understanding a bit more about the wonderful places in the world that I am yet to travel to!

Teaching Style
My teaching style is very student centered and structured. It is very beneficial for me to understand exactly what students would like to cover and to fulfil those expectations. I ensure that the student has clear goals that they would like to achieve, for example, improving their written English or essay writing. I am happy to proofread and give feedback on work whilst ensuring that we are improving spoken English too. I am also happy to adapt my teaching style to a more conversational approach if the student feels more comfortable with that. I am able to work with people of all levels from beginners to advanced. I am very laid back and approachable too, so question and queries are always welcome! :)
