Hello!
I've taught on Cambly since 2020. My specialties are business and advanced academic English, including grammar and pronunciation. I like to make classes individualized to help students succeed. I can teach speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing, depending on what the student requests. (Please note that I do not teach for Cambly Kids.)
I am a licensed teacher and have taught English as a new language in US public secondary schools. I also have taught English at the college level. I am a published author. I like horses, travel, research and writing for publication, and teaching English. I have lived in Mexico and understand the challenges of learning a new language. I love talking to students from around the world and helping them reach their English language goals.

I focus on the student's individual needs. I can teach differences between spoken and written English, informal vs. business English, and advanced academic English for those who plan to write for peer-reviewed journals. I can also teach how to make professional business presentations for multi-national audiences. I have experience teaching students who are business leaders in their home country, university professors, those in medical professions, and students studying for advanced degrees. I can teach some basic differences between US and British English.
