Hello!

I've worked over 4 years in immigrant community based groups. I love creating comfortable environments for students to learn and explore

I'm based in the Philippines! I love watching movies, playing with my family's cat and trying new foods, especially spicy ones. I also enjoy discussing current events, art, music, film and happenings around the world, especially with people from all kinds of backgrounds. I especially love chatting with master's/ PHd students :) I'm excited to meet you !

Your personal English language cheerleader and friend ready to help you conquer your frustrations and life. My goal is not for you to be fluent in English, but to help you express your deepest and most complex emotions and thoughts as clearly as you can in English...and get that new job or get into your dream school ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻) ♡ ____________________________________________________________________________________ 지금 제가 한국어를 공부하고 있어서 새로운 언어를 배우는 게 얼마나 어려운지 잘 아라요. ____________________________________________________________________________________ I specialize in tutoring Post-Graduate students and adults in all professional fields. I have experience tutoring the TOEIC, Grade 1 and Pre-1 EIKEN exams with strategies and materials I personally developed while working with some of my students over the years. I also enjoy making new friends and hearing your stories. I'll adapt to you :) ____________________________________________________________________________________ CLASS TYPE 1. Practice English for fun by having a relaxed conversation with me with or without Cambly materials. I'll write corrections and suggestions in the chat box and explain them to you at the end if you'd like. I'm always excited to hear your stories, difficulties, challenges and curiosities :) ____________________________________________________________________________________ CLASS TYPE 2. Improve practically with TARGETED practice and personalized notes and materials. If any of the following thoughts apply to you, I understand your situation and can help you by identifying the precise problems you're dealing with: "I can read, listen and write well but when I speak, I can't think of the write words or my grammar is always wrong" "I've been studying for many years, but I still can't speak properly" "I don't know how to improve me English, but I want a new job" As adults, we learn language differently and most likely, your English ability is better than you think, but your anxieties and your thoughts overwhelm you so you feel like you're "bad at English". You're not. We're all capable of communicating in many ways throughout our lives and our brains are constantly learning even when we don't "study". Language learning is not 'easier' when we're young, but might seem that way, because we are adults with complex thoughts and advanced language skills in our native language. Your struggles (beginner to advanced) are likely due to very important DIFFERENCES between your native language and English and once you realize them, you can practice them and improve quickly.
